PeopleSoft Access
These procedures apply to all employees of Student Success whose technical support office is Student Success Technology Services.
All computers whose job function requires use of a PeopleSoft function (Financials, Human Resources, and / or Student Administration) should currently have the software installed. If a computer does not have the PeopleSoft icon on its desktop, please contact Student Success Technology Services via the Report a Problem link on their web site.
The Payroll Related Staff member should complete an Academic Technology Services account request form for new staff members. This form will establish the new users account and rights to primary and secondary servers, drives, files, folders, and printers. Offices not supported by Student Success Technology Services can contact Fran Dunavin at the Academic Computer Center who will contact the appropriate Local Area Network (LAN) Administrator. Offices not supported by a LAN Administrator will receive their installation from the Academic Computer Center LAN Support Services.
The employee must have an employee ID (EmplID) prior to user access to any PeopleSoft system, which is assigned when the Payroll Form is processed by the Payroll Related Staff member and the Payroll Office.
PeopleSoft Access Instructions
Users will receive an account on the server CSADMIN0 including UserID and Password. The Login Scripts set up by Student Success Technology Services will prompt users for the UserID and Password for each server they are authorized to use.
As new releases (versions) of the PeopleSoft products are made available, updated installations will be required. Instructions for these upgrades will be provided by Academic Computer Center staff, usually Wayne Trowbridge.
Access problems are best resolved by the LAN Administrator for the server demonstrating problems.
